  The Chemical and Pharmaceutical based Process Maintenance certificate covers the basic maintenance skills and preparing equipment for maintenance then reinstating after and carrying out basic maintenance.   This qualification will suit you if you are working in process technology in chemicals or pharmaceuticals and are training under supervision as a process operator. You may be preparing to start an apprenticeship.
  Overview
  This qualification provides the Gold Standard Level 2 basic process maintenance skills, competence and knowledge requirement for individuals working in the chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. To achieve the qualification learners must obtain 18 credits from a series of mandatory units.
