    This Course is Aimed at

    This qualification is designed for technicians, engineers and operators involved in monitoring, developing and evaluating a range of water treatment applications.

    Overview

    This course is a nationally recognised QCF Level 3 competence qualification consisting of a number of mandatory units and selectable optional units. It covers the skills and associated knowledge required to operate within the water treatment environment.

    Delivery is over 3-24 months.

    Programme Content and Key Areas

    This course is flexible and along with mandatory units involved with sampling, testing can cover competence units for designing and evaluating chemical treatment, selection and specification of treatment equipment and Legionella Risk assessment.

    Learning Outcomes

    This Qualification consists of a number of combined knowledge and practical skill assessment units and is designed for staff involved in monitoring a range of water systems including closed systems, steam boilers, evaporative cooling, effluent plant etc. 

    Unit selection will be in consultation with the employer & learner.
