  The Downstream Control Room Operations diploma is the Gold Standard qualification for those working in a downstream control room e.g. a refinery and covers safety, hazards, incident response and emergencies; starting up, monitoring and shutting down equipment; maintaining process conditions; non-routine information and preparing for maintenance.

  This Course is Aimed at
  This qualification is for individuals that are responsible for the safe, efficient and effective control of all refinery plant and equipment within agreed scope of authority.
  Overview
  This qualification provides recognition of the Gold Standard skills, competence and knowledge of individuals working in a downstream control room. It is made up of a minimum of 72 credits; 61 credits from the mandatory units and a minimum of 11 credits from optional units.
