    This Course is Aimed at

    This qualification is for individuals that are responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation of refinery plant and equipment on units or groups of units within agreed scope of authority.

    Overview

    This qualification provides recognition of the Gold Standard skills, competence and knowledge of individuals working in downstream field operations. It is made up of a minimum of 69 credits; 61 credits from the mandatory units and a minimum of 8 credits from optional units.

    • Respond to Incidents, Hazardous Conditions and Emergencies
    • Work Effectively in a TeamContribute to the Safety of the Processing Environment
    • Monitor and Maintain Process and Equipment Conditions
    • Prepare for Maintenance
    • Shut Down Equipment
    • Handle Non-routine Information on Plant Condition
    • Start Up Equipment

    • Carry Out Maintenance within Agreed Scope of Authority
    • Provide Samples For Analysis
    • Carry Out Local Control Operations
    • Analyse Samples
    • Provide On-plant Instruction
