It has 2 pathways: machine based operations - configuring, optimising and setting machine based processing to meet production requirements and hand-based operations - carrying out, evaluating and adjusting complex manual operations.

This qualification provides recognition of the Gold Standard level 3 skills, competence and knowledge for individuals working in polymer or composite manufacturing operations. It is made up of 2 pathways: polymer machine operations and polymer hand-based operations. Both the machine operations pathways and the hand-based pathway have a 39 credit minimum requirement. The pathways contain mandatory and optional units. |
