    People working in or looking to move into a human resource development role. Set at an undergraduate level, this Intermediate Certificate is ideal if delegates want to study a recognised professional qualification or want to progress their career by improving their knowledge and skills in this area.

    Overview

    The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the awarding body for qualifications in the field of Human Resource Management. This is the intermediate course in the CIPD’s library of human resource qualifications.  This qualification enables participants to develop an ability to evaluate the effectiveness of human resources models and apply best practice within the workplace.

    Programme Content and Key Areas

    The programme is delivered in two sessions covering six units:
    • Developing professional practice
    • Business issues and the context of human resources
    • Using information in human resources
    • Resources and talent planning
    • Managing and co-ordinating the human resource function
    • Employment law

    Learning Outcomes

    On completion of this course, participants will be able to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of theory and best practice in terms of effectively developing and managing human resources within an organisation.
