    Overview

    To meet the need for board level understanding and competence in process safety, three integrated Post Graduate qualifications in the understanding and leadership of continuous improvement in process safety have been developed. The qualifications comprise a mixture of mandatory and optional units to allow for training bespoke to your particular business requirements and are all level 7.

    The two Certificate qualifications each comprise four mandatory and four optional modules, with each module carrying a specified number of credits. Completion of the Understanding Continuous Improvement in Process Safety Certificate awards a minimum 16 credits. Completion of the Leading Continuous Improvement in Process Safety Certificate awards a minimum of 25 credits. The Diploma in Continuous Improvement for  Process Safety carries a minimum of 41 credits, so candidates are automatically awarded the Diploma on completion of both Certificates.

This qualification -Leading Continuous Improvement in Process Safety, will give you the necessary tools to implement and embed a culture of process safety and continuous improvement within your company.

    • Demonstrate a Risk-based Approach to Process Safety Management
    • Maintain Understanding of Major Accident Hazards and Risks and their Impact on Process Safety
    • Implement Best Practice and Deficiency Correction to Improve Process Safety Efforts

    Learning Outcomes

    On completion of this qualification, participants will be able to:
    • Demonstrate their ability as a process safety leader through considered application of the skills acquired during the course.
    • Develop and deploy policies taking into consideration the wider process safety arena and include industry best practice
    • Put in place appropriate monitoring procedures to modify and continually improve existing processes
