It covers team management styles, provides tools to map team capabilities and identify skills gaps, creating development plans and setting SMART targets. The course covers working with others and personnel development aspects of the Gold Standard.

Leading in the Process Industries is a comprehensive course of 7 modules designed to meet the requirements of new supervisors and existing supervisors who would like to refresh their competencies. This one day module provides a clear understanding of the principles of good first line management within an organisation and the approaches that can be used to deliver sustainable results through efficient and effective management of the workforce. It will cover understanding your team’s capability and using it to deliver high performance. Pre Course Activity - One hour pre-reading; participants will be asked to complete a template about their team to bring with them for discussion and to work on within the workshop.
