    The IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management is for those who need a detailed knowledge of environmental/sustainability principles, management tools and skills to effectively deliver positive change as part of their role.

    Overview

    The course consists of 4 modules; 3 taught modules covering global trends and issues that effective environmental sustainability and the tools, techniques and practices needed to implement and develop sustainability; and an assessment of competence module covering all learning outcomes in a practical context.

    • Module 1: Fundamentals of Sustainability, Business & Governance
    • Module 2: Environmental Principles, Policy & Legislation
    • Module 3: Environmental Management/Assessment Tools & Skills
    • Module 4: Assessment of Competence

    Modules 1-3 are assessed through an assignment for each module. Module 4 is an Assessment of Competence based on work experience that you take after all other modules have been successfully completed.
