    This Course is Aimed at

    The IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors course is aimed at those who have overall operational or strategic responsibilities for determining and implementing effective safety and health management and monitoring its success.  It is suitable for owners of small and medium sized enterprises and executive/non-executive directors of larger organisations with governance structures.

    Overview

    The course content is designed around the HSE/Institute of Directors (IoD) guidance “Leading Health and Safety - Leadership actions for directors and board members” and will provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to integrate health and safety strategy into their business and management systems and procedures.

    Programme Content and Key Areas

    The IOSH SSE is split into 5 modules and covers; the moral, legal and financial reasons to manage health and safety, planning, implementing, monitoring and improving health and safety performance.

    Learning Outcomes

    The end of course assessment consists of a personal commitment (action plan) to include up to three actions that are appropriate for the level of responsibility held in their organisation.
