    An interactive eLearning course focussing on key information relating to risk management for staff working in pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution and supply. This risk management course is applicable to both Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). The user is able to choose their route relevant to GMP or GDP and will receive specific material focussed on their choice.     Overview

    This elearning will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete and is split into four sections. This course covers the following information:

    1. Current Regulatory Thinking
    2. What does this mean for me?
    3. Methodologies
    4. Building an FMEA Risk Matrix


    This risk management course is applicable to both Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). The user is able to choose their route relevant to GMP or GDP and will receive specific material focussed on their choice. 

    It is possible to work through both GMP and GDP content in this course.

    Learning Outcomes

    On completion of this module the participant should be able to:

    • Explain the rationale behind current regulatory thinking
    • Understand the implications to their operation’s activities
    • Identify and explain the use of certain risk management methodologies, for example:
    • FMEA – case study
    • HACCP - awareness
