Introduction

The Cogent Skills Partner Network is made up of high quality training partners who offer relevant solutions to Science Industry employers.

Cogent Skills actively works with employers to increase the delivery of benchmarked skills in their organisations and the network is an important part of delivering the solutions. Employers are encouraged to use the network as their first point of call for sourcing quality training.

Being part of the Cogent Partner Network offers different marketing routes into the Science Industries.

Solutions that are delivered by the Network range from courses, apprenticeships, qualifications and bespoke interventions for a range of Science Industry employers who have come together under the Scicence Industry Partnership, and operate in the wider Science Industries.

Value of the Partnership Network

Cogent Skills maintains the partner network so that employers can be confident that they can easily find good quality training that is fit for purpose in their industry sector. This provides confidence and an ease of access that helps them take up the training.

The demand from employers requires the provider network to deliver a range of training including:

  1. Workforce Development
  2. Apprenticeships, Traineeships and HA's
  3. Cogent Skills Commercial Courses
  4. e-Learning

Employers engage with the Cogent Skills team to identify and source the training that they need. The team then utilise the partner network to provide the solution.

The Process

Here at Cogent Skills we take customer satisfaction very seriously. This applies to all of our customer, employer, partner and other stakeholder relationships.

There is a robust approach to the assurance of provision which assesses the suitability of the training to the specific provision. Partners receive assurance for specified deliverables such as individual courses and employer designed technical training programmes. The process is designed to ensure consistently high quality delivery and supports employers in their selection of provision.

Our quality checks are based on the quality of the partner in relation to their ability to deliver a quality product. This includes feedback from employers and other relevant stakeholders as well as ongoing assessment outcomes, including resources and staffing.
