    This Course is Aimed at

    Technicians & Operators involved in: legionella control schemes and monitoring water systems.

    Overview

    This course is a nationally recognised QCF Level 2 competence Qualification consisting of a number of mandatory units and selectable optional units.  It covers the skills and associated knowledge required to operate within the water treatment environment.

    Course duration is 3-18 months.

    Programme Content and Key Areas

    This course is flexible and along with mandatory units involved with sampling, testing can cover competence units for chemical treatment, cleaning processes, equipment maintenance and system surveying.

    This Qualification course consists of a number of combined knowledge and practical skill assessment units relevant to the pathway chosen. Pathway and unit selection will be in consultation with the employer & learner.
