    The Leadership and Management qualification is for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are keen to develop their abilities. They particularly support practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management or individuals just promoted to a supervisor or management role.

    Overview
    This award is made up of a number of recommended units from a series of optional units; these units deliver the Gold Standard skills for a first line supervisor. The qualification covers the basic management skills for a new supervisor or manager such as understanding how to organise and delegate plus skills in problem solving, project management, planning and monitoring work.
