  Overview
  Strong process safety management is essential for any organisation to meet or exceed its safety targets. This qualification provides a wider understanding of process safety management issues. Current theories and practices are examined together with their short and long term implications for process safety and the business overall. This qualification will also give learners the necessary tools to help identify strengths and improvement opportunities in order to assist with implementing and embedding a positive process safety culture and process of continuous improvement within their company. The Level 3 Diploma in Continuous Improvement in Process Safety is a combination of the two Level 3 Certificates comprising 8 mandatory units and 1 optional unit (from a choice of 6). It is awarded on completion of the two certificates and will provide recognition of the skills and knowledge of individuals who are involved in process safety management and continuous improvement in process safety.
  Programme Content and Key Areas
  The two certificate qualifications comprise of mandatory and optional units, with each unit carrying a specified number of credits. Completion of the Continuous Improvement in Process Safety Fundamentals certificate awards 20 credits Completion of the Applying Continuous Improvement in Process Safety certificate awards 23 credits The Level 3 Diploma in Continuous Improvement in Process Safety carries 43 credits, so candidates are automatically awarded the Diploma on completion of both certificates.
  Learning Outcomes
