  • Stepping up to become a Supervisor - LIPI Module 1

    This 2 day course has been developed to meet the needs of new and existing Supervisors in understanding the business implications of their role as a Supervisor in the Process Industries.

    This Course is Aimed at

    This course is for Technicians moving up into a supervisory role or new Supervisors who want to improve their skills and have not had any previous leadership training.


    This two day course has been designed to equip Supervisors in the Science Industries with fundamental principles needed to become a successful leader.  It will encourage Supervisors to shift their thinking from a predominant focus on the technical and give them the tools and techniques to develop team leadership skills and get the most out of their team.

    A combination of scenarios and training will be used making it relevant to the science industries, helping your industry specific staff get the most from the training.

    Leading in the Process Industries (LIPI) is a comprehensive set of courses designed to meet the requirements of new and existing supervisors within the industry sector.  The course covers the fundamental principles required by supervisors to perform their duties and to help them develop their leadership competencies.  LIPI moves away from technical knowledge and develops supervisors in the wider aspects of their role.
