  • Process Safety Leadership for Senior Executives (In-House and Open Courses) PSL

    A highly practical course tailored to the needs of Senior Executives and Board Members. This one day training course offers a clear insight into how to promote a positive safety culture throughout your organisation through the effective engagement of your workforce.

    This Course is Aimed at

    The course has been specifically designed for Senior Executives and Board Members of high hazard facilities, who are ultimately responsible for process safety performance within their organisation.  For companies with boards located outside of the UK, then the responsibility to demonstrate this leadership will lie with the most senior UK executives.


    The Process Safety Leadership for Senior Executives course provides participants with the tools to develop a detailed understanding of the business case for effective process safety management. It will offer a clear insight into how to promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation through the effective engagement of the workforce.

    All Cogent Assured Training Providers will have undertaken a rigorous quality assurance process and will have had their training delivery and personnel endorsed against the requirements of the nationally agreed training standard for Process Safety Leadership. 

    The one day awareness course will include a combination of presentations, exercises, case studies and group discussions and will lead to the development of a bespoke action plan.

    The training can be delivered on-site to groups of up to 10 delegates.  Included with the in-house course is a review day which will take place within six months of the training.  For individuals or smaller groups we run open courses across the UK.  The course is delivered by highly experienced Cogent Assured Training Providers, using case studies and group discussions to actively engage all participants.  All delegates will be given exclusive access to a suite of video case studies designed to reinforce the learning for up to three years.
